The Terrain Management System™, available with both 2WD and intelligent 4WD, can help tackle any adventure. Performance
The Ford Explorer is a beast when it hits the streets in Comstock Park. Rear-wheel drive and four-wheel-drive systems are available to meet your driving needs. This SUV also comes equipped with a Terrain Management system that provides various drive modes.
The 10-speed automatic transmission is efficiently smooth while low and mid-ranges of the powerband provide enhanced acceleration. There's a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine. Up to 365 ponies are available as well as 380 pound-feet of torque. The ST trim offers a 400 horsepower engine that produces 415 pound to feet of torque.
Safety and Technology
Everything from an SOS Post-Crash Alert system to traction control is available for safety purposes. The Explorer offers an advanced airbag system as well as passenger/driver knee airbags. The AdvanceTrac system comes with Roll Stability Control. There's also a built-in anti-theft system.
The Ford Explorer features a premium audio system that produces remarkable sound quality, and wireless charging is optional. The available 4G LTE Wi-Fi will offer instant web access on the go, and up to ten devices can connect at the same time.
